The mission of Xposure Foundation Inc. is to expose children, youth and families in underserved communities, to the Worlds of Science, Technology, Finance, Work Ethics, Nutrition, and Community Service while helping to build stronger Parent/Child Partnerships.
Our belief is that a holistic learning approach to exploring the world is needed early in a child’s development. This opens their eyes to the infinite number of opportunities they have to become successful and productive members of society.
Xposure Foundation Institute is a 501c3 not for profit corporation that began operating its first after-school program at Brooklyn’s P.S. 81 Thaddeus Stevens Elementary School in 2007. Since that time we have served well over 6,000 interns and their families.
The goal of Xposure is to provide quality extended day and out of school programming that helps children and youth apply what they are learning in school to the real world. We are committed to spirited learning, growth and development through our STEAM infused Life-Skills Project Based Learning model.
Our model is fueled by our proprietary PBL ECO-SYSTEM. At our day-school, after-school and community-based sites we use our PBL ECO-SYSTEM to empower students to sharpen their Life Skills through a wide variety of non-traditional approaches anchored by critical thinking and problem-solving skills
We are going to take you on a brief tour to learn more about us and the platform we have built for the 21st-century classroom and workplace.
