K-12 S.T.E.A.M INFUSED LIFE-SKILLS PROJECT BASED LEARNING​

We are committed to creating and exposing youth to environments that foster learning, growth, and development through a simple hands-on (experiential learning) approach. Youth learn best by "DOING" which is what our S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, art, math) infused Life-Skills Project Based Learning model is all about, "DOING". Age doesn't matter, whether a child in kindergarten or a teen in high-school the younger you expose a young person to these life-skills the better chance they have at being successful in life. 

 

Our methodology is simple, focus on the life-skills that will help a young person improve the quality of their life, regardless of age (K-12).

MUSIC PRODUCTION: Write/Record a song about finance, employment, owning a business or combating bullying

FILMMAKING: Write a script or film a skit about finance, employment, owning a business or combating bullying

ANIMATION: Create animated characters and skits about finance, employment, owning a business or combating bullying

CODING: Create games about finance, employment, owning a business or combating bullying

3D MODELING: Create objects about finance, employment, owning a business or combating bullying

GWK (Girls With Knowledge): Undertake projects that focus on finance, employment, owning a business or combating bullying

 

DEVELOPING LIFE-SKILLS BY USING THEM IN THE REAL WORLD: (Making it STICK)

  • Regularly scheduled bank trips to deposit money into their very own custodial savings account

  • Investing money into their very own custodial investment account

  • Job/Internship Searches

  • Posting resumes/responding to ads

  • Interviewing for Jobs/Internships

  • Presenting business plans

  • Launching student-run businesses

  • Launching anti-bullying campaigns 

 

Our program model affords youth the opportunity to learn and hone the identified life-skills by "DOING." We skillfully accomplish this program-wide by exposing youth to a wide range of program disciplines including Music Production, Filmmaking, 3D Animation/Traditional Animation, 3D Modeling/Printing, Coding, etc.
